Clontarf Castle Hotel, scoops two top Business Awards

Clontarf Castle Hotel has yet another reason to celebrate as the hotel has been awarded with two top business awards in the past week. This unique Dublin hotel is delighted to once again be named as one of Ireland’s “Best Managed Companies” in the Deloitte Best Managed Companies Awards 2011. The Deloitte Best Managed Companies award is a symbol of excellence and a source of pride for outstanding private Irish companies.
This is the third consecutive year in which Clontarf Castle have managed to scoop this award since the first annual ceremony in 2009. The award was accepted by Hotel General Manager, Mark Long at the Deloitte awards Dinner in the Burlington Hotel on Friday, 4th March. Kevin Sheehan, Partner at Deloitte commented that “the winning companies tend to share many characteristics including a strategic approach to the future and a strong commitment to their staff in the present”
Clontarf Castle Hotel was also successful in being awarded the highest level of excellence by the European Foundation for Quality Management. The European Foundation for Quality Management is recognised throughout the world as a premier award for business excellence, all aspects of how the business is run and improvements consistently achieved and sustained are measured through a process of target setting, benchmarking and performance monitoring. It is clear from Clontarf Castle Hotel’s mission statement “Making History through Our Passion for Excellence” that the Hotel thrives on seeking continuous improvement in order to exceed guests’ expectations. The team at Clontarf Castle Hotel are extremely honoured to be the only business in Ireland to have been awarded the top qualification this year.
