There are 22 race meetings held throughout the year, providing a mixture of National Hunt and Flat fixtures. The four day Christmas Festival in December and the Hennessy Cognac Gold Cup in February are the highlights of the National Hunt season.
The Irish Champion stakes is the most important flat race at the course and one of the Emirates World Series of Racing which is run in September each year.
Leopardstown is approximately 40 minutes from Clontarf Castle.
