No. Your day is very special to us, so we have a strict one-wedding-a-day policy at the Castle.

Yes. From your first enquiry to your wedding day and after, our dedicated wedding co-ordinator takes care of every detail and makes sure you have the most magical day.

The maximum capacity for a wedding at Clontarf Castle is 250 guests.

Our set packages have a minimum of 40 adults, and a minimum of 120 adults on a Friday or Saturday. For smaller weddings we can create a bespoke package.

Yes. We have a preferred suppliers list, which we’d be very happy to send you.

It depends on the event space booked for your wedding. Deposits are non-refundable:

• Great Hall: €3,000
• Viking Suite: €1,500
• Fahrenheit Restaurant: €1,000

We can hold a date for a number of weeks before the deposit is required.

Yes. We have a number of function rooms that are licensed for ceremonies.

Depending on your numbers, the ceremony can take place in the same room, which we turn around for your reception during the drinks reception. Alternatively, you can use a different event space for your ceremony.

Depending on your numbers, the drinks reception is held in either Knights Bar or Indigo Lounge.

Our round tables seat from 8 to 12 guests each.

We print personalised menus and table numbers or names for every table, and place cards for the top table. We also have a beautiful table plan display.

Yes. We have a PA system and microphones in house, free of charge.

Absolutely. We can connect your device to our PA system with a jack cable, and we’d be very happy to play your own songs during your ceremony or your playlist for the evening.

Entertainment finishes at 1am on Fridays and Saturdays and at midnight from Sunday to Thursday. The bar closes at 1:30am.

Yes. About 6–8 weeks before your wedding you’ll enjoy a complimentary menu tasting for two at the Castle. Your wedding co-ordinator will arrange it; tastings normally take place on a Thursday evening in Fahrenheit Restaurant.

Yes. We cater for any dietary requirements on the day, and we always have a silent vegetarian option.

Corkage is €17.50 per bottle of wine and €25 per bottle of sparkling wine.

Absolutely. We’d be delighted to book a space for a family gathering the night before or a BBQ the day after your wedding. Our BBQ menu starts from €42 per person.

Of course. We can reserve a room or the Wedding Suite for the night before, so you can get ready at the Castle on the morning of your wedding.

Yes. The Wedding Suite is complimentary for the couple on the night of the wedding.

We have 111 bedrooms in three grades: Deluxe, Executive and Suites. Rates vary between grades. There are also a number of guesthouses, B&Bs and hotels nearby.

Yes. Our reservations team can hold up to 10 rooms at a reduced rate for Viking Suite weddings, and up to 15 rooms for Great Hall weddings.

Check-out is normally 12 noon.

The hotel is fully accessible apart from the Tower Suite.
